Fourth on my to do list was...
apologize to the rest of the world for this farce.
I'll get that one out of the way right now.
To much of Europe, Russia, Asia, Canada, Australia, Central America, South America, Africa, the Middle East (especially Iraq) -- to all the dozens of major world nations who want Bush out of office almost as much as the thinking people of America, to you we can only say: We are so very, very sorry. We don't know how it happened either. It didn't resemble any democratic process we were raised to believe in. For tens of millions of us, Bush is not our president and never will be.
That's how divisive - that's how dangerous - that's how very sad it has become.

Your apology reminds me of my little boy when he dropped his ice cream. He was heart broken at his own loss, but still more worried of what I might think of him.
Right now you're hurting and you're angry. You've invested a lot of time, energy and hope into something and it's come to nothing. Don't expect anyone else to know how you feel. It's not for them to understand if they haven't got it in them.
Remember that the world isn't fair, but it's still your world.
So, as we look forwad to four more years with this Lunatic in charge, I think all the thinking people of the world should take a moment to regroup and get our bearings again.
Let's deal with the stuff we can fix, just for now. If you haven't already; call your mother. I'm sure she misses you.
